Connect the TV and Soundbar via HDMI ARC
HDMI ARC (Audio Return Channel) is the most beautiful TV feature you probably have not heard about. ARC allows individual televisions and sound bars to transfer audio from one end to the other with an HDMI cable. In other words, you can use the HDMI input as audio input and output. Follow the steps below to connect your TV and your Soundbar through the HDMI ARC connection.
Turn on the TV and Soundbar. First, you have to connect one end of the HDMI cable to the HDMI IN (ARC) jack on the TV. Then, connect the other end to the HDMI OUT (TV-ARC) jack on the audio bar. The ARC TV will appear on the soundbar display screen, and the TV will transmit the sound through the sound bar.
If the TV sound is muted, press Source on the audio bar or the remote control and set it to D.IN. The soundbar will display D.IN and will soon be changed to TV ARC.
If the ARC TV does not appear on the Soundbar screen, make sure the cable is connected to the appropriate port.
Connect external devices via HDMI

Turn on the TV and soundbar. Connect one end of the HDMI cable to the HDMI IN jack at the bottom of the audio bar. Connect the other end of the HDMI cable to the HDMI OUT jack on the external device. To change the operating mode, press the Source button on the soundbar or the remote control. Set the soundbar to HDMI mode.
Connect external devices using an optical cable

Turn on the TV and soundbar. Connect one end of the digital optical cable to the TV's OPTICAL OUT jack. For this demonstration, the Samsung TV will be used with the One Connect box. Connect the other end to the DIGITAL AUDIO IN (OPTICAL) jack on the audio bar. Press Source on the remote control or sound bar and set the soundbar to D.IN mode.
Connect external devices via AUX
If you want to remove it from an old school, you can use an auxiliary cable to connect the sound card to the TV or external devices. It will give you an analog connection, but your movies will still have first-class sound quality. Learn how to connect below.
Turn on the TV and soundbar. Connect one end of the audio cable to the AUX IN jack on the bottom of the audio bar. Connect the other end of the audio cable to the AUDIO OUT jack of an external device, such as Blu-ray player, DVD player, or video game console. To change the operating mode, press the Source button on the audio bar or the remote control. Set the soundbar to AUX mode.

Manage audio tape using the TV remote control
Sometimes there are many remote tracking controls. You can simplify things by using a remote control to control your TV and sound card. While the speaker is connected to the TV, you can operate the audio tape using the TV remote control. Just follow below to find out how.
With these simple steps, you can use both the TV and the speaker with just one remote control. But first, check that the soundtrack is connected to the TV. Then, follow these steps:
When the sound card is turned on, press and hold the SOUND button until "ON - TV REMOTE" appears on the screen. Then use the TV remote control to go to Settings on your Samsung TV. In the Settings menu, select Sound, and then select Sound Output. Select Samsung Soundbar here and select Close. After that, you can use the TV remote control to control the sound card.
Use Auto Power Link on your soundbar
If the audio tape and the TV are connected by an optical cable, the Auto Power Link will automatically connect the sound card when the connected TV is turned on. You no longer need to look for a remote control whenever you want to watch TV!
Using Auto Power Link
- Connect the audio tape to the TV using an optical cable.
- Before using the optical cable, remove the plastic protection caps.
- Set the soundbar to D.IN mode by pressing Source on the remote control or audio bar.
- Press and hold Left on the power button of the Auto Power Link.
- Auto Power Link is enabled by default.
- Depending on the connected device, the Auto Power Link may not work properly.
